City Attorney’s response to EPA’s claims about San Francisco’s Clean Water Act compliance
SAN FRANCISCO (Oct. 2, 2019) — City Attorney Dennis Herrera today issued the following statement on his Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted to the Environmental Protection Agency:
These attacks on San Francisco are a politically motivated ploy. The Trump administration is ignoring facts and misusing the EPA to attack people it disagrees with. We submitted a Freedom of Information Act request today to the EPA for records related to these unwarranted attacks on San Francisco. We’re looking forward to exposing what’s really going on here.
